Installation Instructions

Double expansion anchors can be installed in four steps. A machine threaded bolt is used to expand the fastener. After installation, if the bolt is removed and then replaced, the holding value is not affected. Expansion anchors work well in a wide range of base materials including soft masonry. Bolts are UNC machine threads and help create strong holds as the cones at each side of the anchor pull toward each other. Step by Step Anchor Installation Instructions follow:

1. Drill hole with carbide tipped bit, based on recommended diameter and depth of anchor, (see chart on technical information page.).

2. Clean out hole.

3. Insert double expansion anchor in hole, tap with hammer, if needed.

4. Place fixture over double expansion anchor. Insert machine bolt through fixture into anchor and tighten.
