For fast and easy installations, the insert anchors provide a flush, non-
protruding and high-strength connection for anchoring hurricane shutters.
No special counter-boring tool or special combination drill bit needed!
Hurricane Shutter Insert Anchor Features:
- New Concept: Hurricane anchoring system introduces a totally new anchoring concept designed to anchor to concrete or block.
- 2 Lengths: The Insert is available in two lengths. The longer version is more suited for applications with a stucco exterior up to 5/8" thick. The shorter version is better suited for applications without a stucco exterior surface.
- Can be used in concrete, wood, block and brick
- Special 1/2” fastener thread diameter
- 1/4-20 internal threads deeply tapped
- Double lead threads
- 5/16” internal hex drive
- Self-embedding head
- Silver Stalgard® finish
- Nylon locking patch
- Uses 7/16” ANSI masonry drill bits
