Applications
The 1/4" x 2-1/4" 410 Stainless Steel Hex Tapcon® is made from 410 Stainless Steel, and is Silver Climaseal® Coated. This anchor is designed for use in concrete, block, and brick.

Environment
The anchor is designed for use in an outdoor, moist environment.

Head Style
The 1/4" x 2-1/4" 410 Stainless Steel Hex Tapcon® is a Hex Washer head and is designed to allow the head to sit on top of the surface of the item being attached.

Hole Diameter/Bit Diameter
The anchor requires a 3/16" hole to be drilled in the base material (concrete, block, and brick). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.

Driver Required
A 5/16" nut driver is required for driving the 1/4" x 2-1/4" 410 Stainless Steel Hex Tapcon® into the base material.

Diameter of Anchor
The diameter of the 1/4" x 2-1/4" 410 Stainless Steel Hex Tapcon® is 1/4".

Length Anchor
The length of the anchor is 2-1/4", and is measured from underneath the head.

Thread Length
The length of the threads on the 1/4" x 2-1/4" 410 Stainless Steel Hex Tapcon® is 1-3/4" in length.

Packaging
The anchor is packaged with 100 pieces per box and one (1) correct sized carbide bit.

Minimum Embedment
The 1/4" x 2-1/4" 410 Stainless Steel Hex Tapcon® minimum embedment into the concrete is 1". Therefore, the 1/4" x 2-1/4" 410 Stainless Steel Hex Tapcon® must be installed so that a minimum of 1" of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.

Maximum Fixture Thickness
The maximum fixture thickness or the maximum thickness of the material being fastened for a anchor is 1-1/4". This will ensure that the minimum embedment of 1" will be met.

Fixture Hole Diameter
The hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger than the designated diameter of the 1/4" x 2-1/4" 410 Stainless Steel Hex Tapcon®. The 1/4" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 5/16".

Spacing between Anchors
Each anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 4" from each other when measured center to center.

Edge Distance
It is very important not to install the 1/4" x 2-1/4" 410 Stainless Steel Hex Tapcon® any closer than 3" from an unsupported edge of concrete.
