Applications
The 1/4" x 6" (six inches) 410 Stainless Steel Flat Phillips Crete-Flex is made from 410 Stainless Steel, and is Silver Climaseal® Coated. This anchor is designed for use in concrete, block, and brick.

Environment
The anchor is designed for use in an outdoor, moist environment.

Head Style
The 1/4" x 6" (six inches) 410 Stainless Steel Flat Phillips Crete-Flex is a Flat Countersunk Phillips head and is designed to prevent the head from protruding above the surface of the item being attached.

Hole Diameter/Bit Diameter
The anchor requires a 7/32" hole to be drilled in the base material (concrete, block, and brick). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.

Driver Required
A #3 bit tip is required for driving the 1/4" x 6" (six inches) 410 Stainless Steel Flat Phillips Crete-Flex into the base material.

Installing a 1/4" x 6" (six inches) 410 Stainless Steel Flat Phillips Crete-Flex
  1. Drill a 7/32" hole into the concrete using a carbide-tipped bit that meets ANSI Standards B212.15.
  2. Drill the hole a 1/2" deeper than the anchor will penetrate the concrete, making sure the minimum embedment requirements of 1" is met.
  3. The hole can be drilled while the fixture is in place. The minimum hole in the fixture for the 1/4" x 6" (six inches) 410 Stainless Steel Flat Phillips Crete-Flex is 5/16".
  4. Clean the hole with a wire brush, vacuum, compressed air, or a blow-out bulb.
  5. Insert the point of the 1/4" x 6" (six inches) 410 Stainless Steel Flat Phillips Crete-Flex into the hole. Make sure that the screw being installed will penetrate the base material a minimum of 1" but no deeper than 1-3/4".
  6. Using a #3 bit tip Phillips bit tip for the anchor , turn the screw clockwise, applying slight pressure until the head of the screw is snug against the material being fastened.
  7. Always use proper personal protective equipment per manufacturer's and OSHA instructions.
