The description of the CONFAST® Carbide Spline Bit is made up of two numbers: the first number is the bit diameter, and the second number is the overall length.
The usable length of all CONFAST® Carbide Spline Bit is 6" shorter than the overall length; the rest of the length refers the shank that connects to the hammer drill.
Hammer drills utilizing the spline shank are large, weigh more than 14 lbs., and are mostly used for drilling larger holes or large quantity of holes.
