Applications
The 1/2" x 2-3/4" Strike Anchor is made from Carbon Steel, and is Yellow Zinc. This anchor is designed for use in concrete only, and should never be used in block or brick base material.

Environment
The anchor is designed for use in an indoor, dry environment.

Hole Diameter/Bit Diameter
The 1/2" x 2-3/4" Strike Anchor requires a 1/2" hole to be drilled in the base material (concrete only). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.

Diameter of Anchor
The diameter of the 1/2" x 2-3/4" Strike Anchor is 1/2".

Length Anchor
The length of the anchor is 2-3/4", and is measured as an overall length of the anchor from end to end.

Thread Type
The threads on the 1/2" x 2-3/4" Strike Anchor are national coarse threads that measures 1/2" with 13 threads per inch, commonly referred to as 1/2"-13.

Thread Length
The length of the threads on the anchor is 1" in length.

Packaging
The 1/2" x 2-3/4" Strike Anchor is packaged with 50 pieces per box and is packaged with the correct number and diameter of nuts and washers.

Minimum Embedment
The anchor minimum embedment into the concrete is 2". Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 2" of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.

Maximum Fixture Thickness
The maximum fixture thickness or the maximum thickness of the material being fastened for a 1/2" x 2-3/4" Strike Anchor is 1/4". This will ensure that the minimum embedment of 2" will be met.

Fixture Hole Diameter
The hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger than the designated diameter of the anchor . The 1/2" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 9/16".

Wrench Size
The size of the wrench required to turn the nut to set the 1/2" x 2-3/4" Strike Anchor is 3/4".

Spacing between Anchors
Each anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 5" from each other when measured center to center.

Edge Distance
It is very important not to install the 1/2" x 2-3/4" Strike Anchor any closer than 2-1/2" from an unsupported edge of concrete.
