- CONFAST® wedge anchor is for use in concrete, not brick, block or stone

o Indoor – zinc plated
o Outdoor – hot-dipped galvanized
o Submerged in water – 304 stainless steel
o Saline/Chlorides – 316 stainless steel
- Hole size in concrete is equal to the anchor diameter. A 3/8” CONFAST® wedge anchor requires a 3/8” hole to be drilled in the concrete.
Installing
- Drill hole in concrete using hammer drill and ANSI standard carbide bit
- CONFAST® wedge anchor must be installed to minimum embedment depth
- Spacing, make sure anchors are a minimum distance of 10 anchor diameters from each other
- For best results clean hole out of all dust and debris
Determining Size
- What manufacture of item being attached specifies
- Size of hole in fixture
- Match weight of item being fastened to safe work load of the CONFAST® wedge anchor
Choices
- Diameter of CONFAST® wedge anchor to be used ranges from 1/4” to 1-1/4”
- The length of the CONFAST® wedge anchor ranges from 1-3/4” to 12”
- All CONFAST® wedge anchors come packaged with the proper number, size and quantities of nuts and washers
