A hole must be drilled into the masonry material before the CONFAST® 304 Stainless Steel Hex Head Sleeve Anchor can be inserted. The hole diameter or the bit size is the same size as the CONFAST® 304 Stainless Steel Hex Head Sleeve Anchor being installed.
The stud in the CONFAST® 304 Stainless Steel Hex Head Sleeve Anchor sits inside the expansion sleeve, and, therefore, is a smaller diameter. The nut that comes with the anchor is smaller, for example, a 1/2" sleeve anchor uses a 3/8" nut.
The CONFAST® 304 Stainless Steel Hex Head Sleeve Anchors range in diameters from 5/16 to 3/4". Each diameter has a number of lengths that will meet most application requirements.
