The Tapcon® large diameter zinc plate should only be used in dry environments. Moisture and water may cause the Tapcon® large diameter zinc plate fastener to rust, which may affect holding values.

All diameters (3/8" to 3/4") can be used in solid concrete by an electric impact wrench or by hand installation
The 5/8" and 3/4" zinc plated large diameter Tapcon® should never be installed in hollow block
The 3/8" and 1/2" zinc plated large diameter Tapcon®, when installed in hollow block, must be hand-tightened and an impact wrench should never be used.
